Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I bought this at Milano Music for $75. I did not go in there intentially to buy this splash. I was browsing and it appealed to my ears.

I think that this is a very nice and versatile splash. It would work well with all types of music. I play rock and this splash works perfect with it. I love the brilliant finish. I upgraded from a zxt titanium splash. This one is by far better.

The only thing is that I wish it were a little louder. I play in a small room with amps facing my kit so sometimes it gets hard to hear it. It could also be because I am in a small room. Other than that, I think this is a really good cymbal.

This cymbal seems to be very durable, and well made. The finish is beautiful and it adds a certain appeal to my kit.

I have said this once and I will say it again, "zildjian cymbals are the best." In my opinion you can not go wrong with any zildjian cymbal you get. Just stay away from the sheet cymbals, unless you cannot afford the higher end ones. Zildjian started it all and continue to set the bar in innovative products. GO AND GET SOME
